Go to https://www.cps.edu/goc. Login to APPLY or Create an account.

Vaya a https://www.cps.edu/goc. Inicie sesión para APLICAR o Cree una cuenta.

Create your student's profile. You must select Spanish as the student’s primary language to see the third option: Regional Gifted Center Programs for English Learners. (The assessment will be in Spanish)

Cree el perfil de su estudiante. Debe seleccionar Español como el idioma principal del estudiante para ver la tercera opción: Programas del Centro Regional para Estudiantes Dotados y Aprendices de Inglés. (La evaluación será en español)

Select Pulaski as your First Choice. Then, select the preferred EL Regional Gifted Center Test Date.

Seleccione Pulaski como su Primera Opción.  Luego, seleccione la Fecha del Examen del Centro Regional EL para Estudiantes Dotados.

Review and Submit Application.

Our mission is to nurture the unique talents of gifted bilingual students by providing an accelerated and enriched academic curriculum that promotes biliteracy, bicultural identity, and critical thinking. Students receive instruction in both English and Spanish that goes beyond foundational language development to deepen academic inquiry and real-world problem-solving.

We envision a learning community where gifted bilingual students thrive as innovative, biliterate leaders—academically advanced, culturally grounded, and equipped to shape a multilingual, global society.

This program is designed to give greater academic equity and opportunity to our students that are gifted learners and high achievers who also speak Spanish as their primary home language.
