Ms. Reardon is in her sixth year at Pulaski International School of Chicago as a 7th grade Life Science and Language Arts Teacher. Prior to Pulaski, she taught Kindergarten, 4th grade, and 6th grade for 5 years in the Chicago Public Schools.Ms. Reardon grew up on the north side of Chicago and graduated high school from Loyola Academy in Wilmette. She attended the University of Wisconsin- Madison and earned a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Spanish.Ms. Reardon’s early teaching experiences in a bilingual kindergarten and 4th grade classroom propelled her Spanish conversational skills significantly. She now considers herself a true bilingual and bi-literate educator! In her first three years of teaching Ms. Reardon worked to obtain her Bilingual and ESL endorsements and subsequently enrolled to finish her coursework with a Master’s degree from Dominican University in River Forest. Her Master’s degree is in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on ESL and Bilingual Education. She is also endorsed in Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science at the middle school level.Ms. Reardon has completed several Chicago Marathons and Triathlons and enjoys running and working out on the Lakefront. She is very close to her family as they all still reside in Chicago. She is also an avid fan of Big Ten Football and Basketball. Go Badgers!
