Hi, my name is Mrs. Padilla and this is my 17th year at Pulaski. I taught 4th grade for two years and the rest of my professional experience has been teaching 5th grade, almost entirely in the gifted bilingual program. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Arts degree in Reading. I enjoy integrating the arts into the curriculum and finding news ways to include project-based learning in the classroom to support the school’s IB program. Learning is a life-long journey, and I’d like to inspire this love of learning in my students. In my spare time, I love to read, bake cookies, and spend quality time with my family. On most weekends, you will find me at a soccer game, enthusiastically cheering on my sons, Javier and Andres, while they play for the Chicago Fire Juniors. Go Fire!
