Mrs. Racasi (B.A., M.A., M.Ed.) is the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) coordinator at Pulaski International School of Chicago.  She has been working at Pulaski for nine years, formerly a lead literacy teacher for four years, and a teacher for five years in the third and fourth grades.  She is enthusiastic and prepared to embark on this new and exciting role at Pulaski. As the IB PYP coordinator her job is to help teachers strengthen their knowledge base and learn the fundamental IB PYP concepts and teaching skills.  Her leadership will assist in teacher implementation of the International Baccalaureate Organization PYP with fidelity.   Such practices will support improved student achievement as the entire school community works together through every step of the IB PYP authorization process.

Mrs. Racasi is passionate about sharing what she knows about reading instruction and has a  love for children’s literature.  In her spare time she especially enjoys traveling with her son and husband.
