A Message From Our Principal
Welcome to Pulaski International School of Chicago’s website. I am thrilled that you are interested in what is happening at our school. Our site is designed for families who are considering Pulaski for their child’s education and for our current families.
Pulaski is a school that is on the move. We are a neighborhood school in the initial stage of bringing the Primary Year and Middle Year International Baccaulaurate Programme to our community. We also have a Regional Gifted Center for English Language Learners. Working together, we have one school and one mission, to bring a high quality education to all students.
At Pulaski , we work toward National and International standards, with a focus on the achievements of our students. Our students experience an active and engaging learning environment where they grow to become inquirers, communicators, open-minded, reflective, balanced and caring, to name a few characteristics.
Our teachers come well prepared to bring an excellent education to each student and our teachers and staff work together in teams and in partnership with our parents to leverage our resources.
I also want you to know that in addition to beginning the year with an average class size of 26 students, we will also be offering the following resource classes for our students:
- Music/Band
- Spanish Language
- Gym
- Library/Media
- Technology
- Visual Art
We are also excited to let you know that we have added recess to our school day! Students will begin the day at 9:15 and will be dismissed at 3:45PM.
If you are interested in our school, be sure to review our website, but know that there are limits to technology. It would be wonderful if you decided to schedule a school tour to capture a closer look at what Pulaski is. If you are a parent, please be sure to visit your teacher’s homepage, where you can find up to date information about the content studied in class, daily homework and any announcements.
Thank you again for your interest in and continued support of Pulaski.
Sincerely,
Pat Baccellieri
