Ms. Henry teaches middle grades self-contained special education. This is her third year at Pulaski International School of Chicago and she expects it will be her best year yet! Last year, she was the lucky recipient of an iPad Integration grant. She will be using this technology across subject areas to enhance her students’ learning at the individual level. This is pivotal as she aspires to meet the unique needs of her students, a challenge she greatly enjoys. Ms. Henry received her BA in 2006 at Grinnell College in English and German, and became a Chicago Teaching Fellow in 2008 where she received her MAT and special education endorsement at National Louis University. Her latest after school program teaches kids to master a variety of challenging board games as well as create their own! Outside of school, she loves to try out new recipes on her friends, play guitar and sing, and spend time with her puppy Roscoe.
