Classroom Experience
Pulaski International School’s classroom is a unique learning space. Our world class teachers provide lessons that are tailored to the individual learning needs of our students. Pulaski’s layering approach ensures that specific knowledge is targeted and continually re-emphasized. Small class size (average 26 students) means that teachers and students have a close relationship, further strengthened by our care. Finally, our curriculum, teachers and families combine to make our schools truly international.
Within the classroom, teachers plan units of study, with an outline of clear goals and objectives and the criteria by which students will know when they have been successful. Students engage in the content taught, working in pairs, teams and with their class, asking questions and researching to extend their learning. Learning is also extended when students are with their visual art, music, band, gym, Spanish, technology or library and media teachers. At the end of the unit, students present their projects to teachers and peers, and two times a year, students present their work to parents and family during Investigation Days.
