Ms. Chagoya teaches first grade bilingual gifted at Pulaski International School of Chicago. This will be her second year at Pulaski but her fifth year teaching. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from DePaul University. Ms. Chagoya is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in literacy at DePaul University. In her spare time she enjoys playing sports and traveling.

 

This year, first graders in Ms. Chagoya’s class will engage in collaborative inquiry circles and conduct research to explore the world around them. They will also learn a variety of strategies for comprehension, problem solving, and critical thinking.
