Diana Calderon-Kuehl is a  7th grade Social Studies and Language Arts teacher this year. She has a lot of exciting plans for this year and hopes the students are as eager as she is to get started.

Mrs. Calderon-Kuehl is a fifth year teacher and loves what she does.  She enjoys interacting with kids this age and implementing creative ideas in her classroom.  She describes her grading as tough, but fair. Mrs. Calderon-Kuehl says, “The thing I love most about teaching history is that it is relevant to life today. Studying the past helps us understand how to deal with issues of today and tomorrow. ”

Her greatest hope for the students this year is that they reach their full potental. ”I want them to not only be able to state an opinion, but to be able to make a strong case to back it up. Critical thinking will be an essential skill that we will practice in my classroom,” says Diana.
