Early Childhood Education ensures all children ages birth through age eight have equal access to comprehensive high-quality program options, as well as support on a developmental continuum. Working within a context of children, families and communities, we are committed to creating an engaging learning environment that supports and respects the unique potential of each individual through best practice.

Through common goals and high expectations, Pulaski International School of Chicago is dedicated to building a strong foundation and igniting a passion for lifelong learning for children and their families. We:

  • Prepare students for the future by providing challenging and rewarding experiences
  • Provide quality education and child care services
  • Create engaging learning environments that encourage all students
Current initiatives

At Pulaski we are committed to preparing children for the future: for work, higher education, and family and civic responsibilities. Our preschool teachers understand that the process begins very early in life.

How To Enroll

Pulaski offers a half day Pre-K with AM (8:45 – 11:20) and PM (1:10 – 3:45) sessions.  Students are admitted through the CPS Ready to Learn “sliding tuition scale” program.  There are three Pre-K classrooms. Each Pre-K session has a maximum of 20 students with two full-time teachers, giving us space for 120 students throughout the day.

Application for Fall 2016 Preschool Enrollment is starting soon!

The new application for early learning programs is coming soon! As a part of a city-wide effort to ease the process of enrolling your child in preschool, you will now be able to apply online for preschool programs offered by Chicago Public Schools (CPS) and the Department of Family and Support Services (DFSS)– both schools and community-based partners.  This application will be for children who will be ages 3 or 4 years old prior to September 1, 2016.

**Two ways to apply!**

Early Bird Applications Begin May 16: You can submit an application for any of the City’s over 600 preschool sites online or by bringing a paper application to select local libraries or CPS offices (listed below). No need to rush, applications collected between May 16 and June 10 will be processed for placement together, earlier submissions do not guarantee priority.

Starting June 13: Parents that applied during the Early Bird period will receive notice of their preliminary placements (available online or via mail). Parents that have not yet applied can continue to apply for programs online or in person.  Applications received after June 13 will receive immediate notice of their preliminary placement. Applications will be collected and placed throughout the summer.

Don’t have access to a computer? Applications can be submitted from any web-enabled device.

On May 16, the following sites will open for parent or families that may need assistance completing an application and to collect complete paper application.

My son has participated in the Pulaski Pre-K for the past two years. He has grown and blossomed under the guidance of his wonderful teachers. He knows his alphabet in sign language, brings home amazing art projects, did an independent inquiry all on his own, and has become a very inquisitive child. He loves school and learning. I cannot say enough about Pulaski Pre-K. They work miracles in 2.5 hours a day!Discover Options24option broker review

My daughter just finished her first year of Pre-K at Pulaski and will be returning again this fall. More than ABCs and 123s, she has developed a real passion for learning and self discovery. I have been thoroughly impressed with the school and its teachers. On a personal note, walking to school everyday is awesome!google adworrdsTexet TB-136SE Grey
