Academics

Pulaski International School of Chicago prepares students to meet the challenges of a changing world.

Our academic program is based on the curriculum frameworks and programme standards and practices of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP).

IB World Schools share a common philosophy—a commitment to improve the teaching and learning of a diverse and inclusive community of students by delivering challenging, high quality programmes of international education that share a powerful vision.

Distinctive Approach to the Curricula

This distinctive approach to the curricula provides a comprehensive, international program of study that aims to equip every student with the essential skills for lifelong learning and meet individual learning needs. Our school encourages independence and self-discipline in an atmosphere of mutual respect and appreciation of diverse opinions and cultures.

Happy, Caring and Stimulating Learning

Pulaski aims to foster a happy, caring and stimulating learning environment where all students grow academically, develop self-esteem and fulfill their potential as human beings. At Pulaski the belief is that learning is a lifelong journey where we are challenged and strive for success.

Homework Policy

Pulaski has developed a homework policy based on children’s developmental levels. Teachers review and share the homework policy with students and parents at the beginning of each school year.
