Technology
We live in a technological age, it is essential that our students are educated on how to utilize these resources to their advantage.
The technology curriculum at Pulaski International School of Chicago is fundamental in acquainting our students with the technology needed for them to succeed in school and later in life. Middle school students in technology will receive an intensive program in which they are highly immersed in creating, presenting and learning digitally. Grades 6-8 will meet daily, while 4th and 5th grade students will meet once a week. Upper Elementary students will have the technology groundwork laid out for them to delve deeper into technology in the coming years. Students will learn how to use a variety of computer software programs, including the Microsoft Office Suite that is essential for schoolwork as they progress into high school. Collaboration with core subjects such as math, reading, science and social studies will be crucial in the assignments the students complete. Students will also be exposed to art-based computer software for design-centered projects. The technology program is a well-rounded thorough approach to teaching and learning for our students.
